Rev Nona Jones

From Social Media to Social Ministry

Nona Jones is a rare combination of preacher, author, business executive, entrepreneur, media personality, and worship leader. In her day job, she serves as the Head of Global Faith-Based Partnerships at Facebook where she leads the company’s work with faith-based organizations around the world. She is the author of Success from the Inside Out, chronicling her unlikely story of success after a childhood filled with physical and sexual abuse. She also hosts “Undefeated with Nona Jones,” a Facebook Live talk show that reaches almost 40 million people around the world each week. Since being licensed into the gospel ministry at the age of 17, Nona has preached around the world.  

She and her husband, Pastor Tim, lead Open Door Ministries in Gainesville, Florida. She holds a Bachelor in Communications and Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and has completed graduate studies at the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation.



 

Rev Dr Doug Clay

Q&A with the General Superintendent - A/G 2.0

Rev. Doug Clay was elected chief executive officer of the General Council of the Assemblies of God at the 57th General Council in August, 2017. Prior to his present position, Clay served the church as its general treasurer for nine years. He was superintendent of the Ohio District from 2004-2008, and pastored Calvary Assembly of God in Toledo, Ohio, from 1997-2004. Clay has also served as the Assemblies of God national youth director (1995-1997), Ohio District youth director (1989-1995) and as a youth pastor in Ohio and Iowa. Clay has a passionate love for the local church; he is a church health enthusiast and he effectively equips leaders to grow in their calling. Clay is the author of Ordered Steps and Dreaming in 3D.

Taking Children’s Ministry to the Next Level

Sr. Director of Children’s Ministries at General Council of the Assemblies  of God Mark Entzminger, a 4th generation AG Pentecostal, is very concerned about children understanding and experiencing a Spirit-empowered life. Like you, he believes that the power of the Holy Spirit is just as critical for children today as it was for the disciples who waited in the Upper Room.As the AG National Children's Ministries Director, Mark leads a high-caliber team that focuses on equipping the local church in reaching and discipling children so that they can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and respond to His call.



 

Rev Tim Adour

Re-Engaging the Church Post-COVID- Panel

Timothy Adour is the senior pastor of Church of the Revelation in the Bronx. He and Diana have been in the church for 14 years. Prior to moving to the Bronx, they were the pastors of Life Church, formally Church of the Resurrection, in East Syracuse. Tim earned his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Johnson University and has traveled extensively conducting leadership seminars and workshops.
